Our Pre-Prep

Visits and open mornings

PLEASE SEE OUR LATEST INFORMATION DURING THE CORONAVIRUS CLOSURE  HERE

Come and find out what makes us different! The boys love having visitors and meeting new people, and you and your son will be sure of an enthusiastic welcome. As well as weekday tours, we hold several fun events each year to help your son feel at home and familiar with us, before he comes to spend some time with us at a Stay and Play

Individual visit

You are warmly invited to come for a visit on a school day, with or without your son. Our boys and teachers will play with your little boy in the Reception classroom and garden, while you chat with the Head of the Pre-Prep and take a good look at what's happening in the classrooms that day. You are welcome to have a tour of the rest of the school too, of course.

Fun events to get to know us

Each term we hold a fun event with a different theme, to give you and your son a chance to get to know us better - and for us to get to know you, too. It's a lovely way for the boys to start to feel at home in the classrooms before they start school. You are welcome to come to as many events as you like - it's a great way to make friends with the people who might be your classmates one day, too!

Our Location

We are blessed with a truly idyllic location. Just an hour south of London by direct train, with easy access to all the major travel hubs, and yet we are surrounded by the stunning countryside of the South Downs National Park. The school is tucked away  between Winchester Cathedral and Winchester College, within the secure and secluded Cathedral Close. Moments from our front door is the heart of the historic city of Winchester, or step through our back gate to find water meadows, countryside, and the South Downs Way.
