Through role-play and exploration of props, the boys have imagined what visiting the moon is like. The incredible range of adjectives generated demonstrated how immersed the boys were in their learning and that they were using their imaginations to the full! 

Year 1 staff were overjoyed to hear a cry of "I love maths" as the class embarked upon a number line challenge lesson on Thursday this week. Indeed, all boys have risen to the challenges set and have demonstrated excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills; the boys were so immersed they asked to continue after lunch!

Fun was had by all when Year 1 joined Reception for harvest-themed art lessons. The boys produced some impressive observational artwork of fruit and Mrs Kent noted the care and attention they gave to each detail. We look forward to seeing some of their masterpieces on display in the Pre-Prep library.
