We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped in any way or supported PPA events throughout the year! So many parents have given their time and creative energy to supporting these events that build our community, but also raise money for charities and school funds. As well as contributions to Children in Need and Comic Relief, the boys raised over £1000 for Winchester Youth Counselling and Stay at School from the sponsored walk. The Fête and School of Rock raised over £2000 for school funds and means we can support requests from staff for things that enhance the life of the school. This year we have funded bikes and trikes for the Pre-Prep, lighting for the theatre productions and have significantly contributed to the outdoor classroom.

We would also like to thank the many teachers who have given their time and energy this year. With such a packed school programme it’s difficult to know how they fit it all in, but we are very grateful to have such a supportive and encouraging staff team, without whom these events would be incredibly difficult, perhaps impossible. The staff vs parents cricket last Saturday was such a great example of this! And finally, my personal thanks have to go to the amazing PPA team who meet on the first Sunday of each term to plot out the fun for the coming weeks. Each one of them has contributed so much in time and energy, ‘making things happen’….along with a significant amount of community service in the PPA shed! 

As we look towards the next academic year, please do consider if you would like to be more involved with helping with school events - it really is a lot of fun and ‘the more, the merrier’.
