Year 3's 'Mutiny on the Piranha'

Year 3 invited Year 1 to watch them perform ‘Mutiny on the Piranha’, a play written by and starring themselves!
Each boy had created their own character, giving them a name and a personality, and had contributed to the plot of the play, as well as lines for themselves to say.
The valiant Captain Rapier (Digby), supported by sensible First Mate Squidlock, (William M), were attacked on board their vessel, the Piranha, by rascally Deadlegs (Leo) and Redskull (Hugh). Having been thrown overboard, Rapier and his loyal crew managed to swim to shore and discovered the smelly secret of Uncle Noddy the Violent’s buried treasure. Much fun has been had, and the boys were very excited to dress up and perform for another class. BunBuns (Simon), Hinox (James), Gannon (William O), Jack Sparrow (Aaron), Swashbuckling Sam (Noah), Black-Eyed Bob (Ian), Redbeard (Seva), Scary Cat (Will T), Black Razor (Attilio) and Blackbeard (David) were all delighted that Year 1 laughed at their jokes, and even wanted to ‘shake the hands of the pirates’ at the end. Thank you, Year 1, for being a great audience for the premiere of our great work!
