Year 8 final trip, Belgium

The final day of school for Year 8 boys is always such a significant occasion! It’s filled with a whirlwind of emotions, as we all recognise that it’s time for them to embark on new adventures.
They’ve clearly outgrown their prep school, both in stature and spirit, from their blazers to their playground. While it’s bittersweet for me to see them move on, deep down, I know they’re more than ready for what's to come.
That’s why these Belgium photographs hold such lovely memories; they capture the laughter, the camaraderie, and a sprinkle of history that we’ve explored together. I often say this, but it bears repeating: I wish all the boys in Year 8 every joy and success as they transition to their senior schools. It has been an absolute delight teaching them and sharing wonderful moments over the past three years—in the classroom and during our trips.
I will genuinely miss each and every one of them, but I am excited to hear about their new journeys and how they are settling in to their new schools. Here’s to new beginnings filled with unknown possibilities!
