This term they are Microbiologists! With trillions of bacteria in our body, there was no shortage of availability, and the boys skilfully swabbed different areas of the classroom (and their hands) to see what we could find. After a short spell in the incubator, all was revealed, bacteria galore. In addition to the excitement of the bacteria, I was incredibly impressed with the practical skills on display. The boys listened carefully and followed very specific instructions to ensure we could observe the different types and species of bacteria, most likely Bacillus and Staphylococcus. Well done, boys.
