Celebrating Innovation & Craftsmanship
Our Art & Design & Technology exhibition has officially wrapped up, and I couldn't be prouder of the incredible DT work our boys have produced this year.
From Year 3 up to our Year 8 pupils, the workshop has been a hub of an "industry-first" mindset. Visitors and parents explored a brilliant showcase of hands-on engineering and creative design, featuring:
🛠 CAD/CAM & Hand Tools: Blending traditional skills like tenon sawing with 3D printing and digital vector design for our laser cutters.
🌟 Ambitious Projects: Showcasing everything from Year 5 wooden robots to Year 6 metal keyrings, bespoke typography door signs, and custom-branded packaging.
🌳Material Stewardship: Highlighting a conscious awareness of where our resources come from by prioritising sustainably sourced, FSC-certified plywood.
A massive thank you to our pupils for their dedication and attention to detail. They didn't just learn how to make products; they learned how to think like designers.
The future of engineering is looking incredibly bright!
