Boarders visit local Marwell Zoo

It was the perfect sunny afternoon for last Sunday’s boarders' trip to the zoo.

It was lovely to be back within the beautiful grounds of such a fantastic local attraction making the most of all that open space. Highlights included catching feeding time at the giraffe house, and seeing the new baby white rhino, Amali (whose name means “hope” in Swahili) who was born only 6 weeks ago as part of a conservation programme.

The playgrounds at Marwell are almost as exciting as the animals, so after we'd exhausted these, we just about had time for a group photo before heading back to Pilgrims' in time for supper.
