We drew without looking at the paper, used our non-writing hand to draw, and drew without taking our pencils off the paper - it pushed us out of our comfort zones! All these tasks helped us to relax into our drawings and use our eyes and hands in unison to draw with more accuracy.

After the drills, the Year 7s have been using sketching pencil to create more detailed drawings of themselves - they have all worked extremely hard and here are a few excellent examples from each class. We will be using different media to add colour and texture to our work over the next few lessons, so watch this space for more updates on our progress!
