Our world from above looks very different.

After chatting to the boys about the concept of a bird’s-eye view, I introduced the boys to some very simple mapping skills. The boys identified a zone they wanted to work in and created a bird’s-eye view of that zone. Once they had mastered this skill, their imagination was allowed to flow and additional features were added.
