Recita Finals

This year's Recita Finals were of an incredibly high standard, to the point where actually picking a winner became practically impossible!

In Recita I, Reuben in Year 3, James in Year 4 and Alexander and Darcy in Year 5 were all highly commended. The overall winner was Aarav (Year 5), whose reading of Invictus was astonishingly polished, powerful and mature.

In Recita II, there was a lovely range of poetry and style of delivery, but highly commended in Year 6 was Thomas and highly commended in Year 7 was Caspar. The overall winner was Teddy (Year 7) whose performance of The Jabberwocky was utterly captivating and brimming with authority and originality.

A huge well done to all boys who took part, not just in the Finals, but also in the class heats. I was incredibly proud of every single boy who stood up and recited their poems to a packed Pilgrims' Hall with such poise and a big 'thank you' to all the parents for their support.
