Year 5 Flower Dissection in Science
What better time of year to learn about plants! Year 5 have been doing just that.
Year 5 started the Summer term learning about green plants and flower reproduction. Here they are dissecting a variety of flowers, finding and identifying the sepals, anthers, filaments, stigma, style, ovary and ovules and discovering their function.
