Year 3 Forest School

This week, the boys were encouraged to have a deeper connection with nature by hugging a tree!
Before getting to know the trees, the boys spent time establishing a sense of trust between each other, blindfolded! Once they felt confident with their partner, they took it in turns to lead each other around the site blindfolded to a tree of their choice.
The boy who was blindfolded then spent time getting to know their tree, identifying its unique features. Once they had returned to their starting position and the blindfold was removed, the boys were asked to find the tree they had just met!
