Two new records, two new record holders!
Friday 16 November was the occasion of the first round of the Set cross country competition. Conditions were excellent - no wind, no chill and gently spongy underfoot – and the boys were fit.

The soccer season finished with matches against Papplewick and Farleigh. Papplewick was a tough but worthwhile fixture with victories for the 2nds, 4ths and Foals Maguire. The 1sts drew and we had some narrow defeats.
The school's Service for Remembrance was held in Winchester College Chapel.
Mulled wine, hot chocolate, gingerbread, and five hundred pairs of eyes gazing skywards. Few events bring the school together like the annual firework display.

The Year 5 English teachers handed out their first wave of pen licences this morning! Congratulations to all the boys who received their licences, we look forward to handing out more next term. Well done to Otto, who also received his pen licence today but was absent for the photo.
This was another fantastically close match, as two Pilgrims' sides battled against each other.
The Reception and Year 1 boys spent a wonderful few hours at Pizza Express in Winchester, just a short walk down the river from our classrooms.
Over the past few days, the Year 1 boys have harnessed their creative skills and made their own Diva lamps as part of our learning about the festival, Diwali.
Our boarders are all set for the opening of the ice rink which will appear in front of the school later this month.

Year 8 enjoyed a fantastic field trip to The Design Museum in London this week where they were able to explore the innovative ‘Beazley Designs of the Year’ exhibition.
