The sailing team re-aligned on Wednesday for the first session of the Summer Term. 15 boys set off for Southampton clutching wet shoes and swimmers with lots of enthusiasm and excitement.  After re-discovering the joy of squishing into an overly dry wetsuit the boys emerged to meet their new instructors for their on-shore briefing and safety notes.

Once launched, a gentle breeze and incoming tide allowed an easy drift away from the centre where previous skills were remembered and new experiences gained. The instructors spoke highly of the boys as a group and despite a cold couple of hours, everyone sailed well and enjoyed the ride!

Next week brings training in greater detail with the boys being grouped by their abilities.
