Using the Library

Last week pupils in Years 5 to 8 visited the Library for an 'induction' session,

a time during which children were reminded of the importance of treating the room and the books with respect. Pupils were reminded of the importance of signing out and returning books properly and how to look after them. Following these simple steps will allow the library to invest its budget in continuing to purchase new books, rather than replacing lost and damaged ones. Parents' support will be greatly appreciated, and any library book found under beds and sofas, or behind desks, will be gratefully welcomed back to the fold.

This week's special selection offers children an opportunity to learn and reflect upon the life and service of Her Late Majesty, Elizabeth II, and more widely on the British government and politics.

We are looking forward to starting our Book Clubs soon; further information will be available next week.
