Of course, our other stars of this first half of the term have been our ducklings! What a treat in store for the boys when they arrived at school on Monday morning. After much perseverance, care and patience, two little ducklings had hatched at the end of the Easter holidays. Hoorah! 

The ducklings have been such a huge joy for us all to have in our Reception classroom. They have real characters and the boys have loved them. They have officially been named as Zoomie and Quackers and have enjoyed safe swims (with the boys supervising them!) and plenty of play.

They have continued to bring joy and delight to children, staff, and families alike. They have kept us all enthralled as we’ve watched them grow (and how quickly they’ve grown!) and begin to explore their new world. 

We will soon have to say a fond farewell to Zoomie and Quackers, as they move on to their new forever home with Mr Halliday. We will miss them very much but know they will be very happy on the farm and that we will be able to receive updates on how they are doing on a regular basis.
