Christmas carols with care home residents

It was a wonderful afternoon when 14 Pilgrims' boys united in song with residents of local care home, Signature.

Mr Burton, Assistant Director of Music, took to the grand piano, to perform Christmas carols with the boys and residents of Signature at Winchester. In between sipping on mulled wine and eating mince pies, residents sang and smiled, clearly enjoying the occasion. Music for all ages is certainly good for the soul!

Mr Burton said; “It was lovely to be able to touch the hearts of local residents with music at this time of year. During our visit, our boys were impeccable and sang with gusto, clearly gaining much enjoyment from the experience. We look forward to visiting again soon.”

Dawn Sanders, Client Liaison Manager, Signature at Winchester, said; “We were thrilled to have the boys from The Pilgrims' School sing Christmas carols for our Signature at Winchester Christmas Lights Switch On event. Thank you for spreading lots of festive cheer. Our residents and families thoroughly enjoyed it, and we wish you all a very merry Christmas.”

After our farewells, boys returned to school, saying they wanted to return again next year.
