Celebrating the Chinese New Year - Friday 20 January
Saturday 14 January saw the Senior School Fair make a welcome return to Pilgrims’.
At the beginning of each year, four new Gap students arrive from overseas to join in with all aspects of school life and to experience life in England for a while. The boys and staff gain extra support, often from talented school-leavers specialising in sport and the arts, and these students also have the opportunity to travel to Europe in school holidays. A win-win situation!
We are thrilled to announce that Mr Tim Butcher will be the next Head of The Pilgrims’ School, taking up his new post in September 2023.
At the end of the Christmas term, the choristers had a week off before returning to school on 15 December for a ten-day spell of Choirtime. Whilst recent Choirtimes in the Easter and Summer holidays have since returned to normal, this was in fact, the first fully typical Christmas Choirtime for three years (since the pandemic began).
