This year, Pilgrims’ entered the national ‘School Challenge’ quiz competition for the first time in a number of years.
As the school year draws to a close, the PPA Book Club has held its final meeting of the year, bringing to an end another wonderful chapter in what has become a much-loved part of the Pilgrims’ community.
Since 8W finished their exams, I have been showing the boys a variety of visually impressive experiments which we then discuss, to see what principles of Science are involved, and what they have learned.
Year 4 are building their portfolio of Science expertise.
This week the boys learned about mandalas – symmetrical geometric patterns that originate from the Buddhist and Hindu religions.
The PPA Sponsored walk triumphed despite the challenging weather of last Saturday, and thank you to everybody for their efforts and contributions.
Last week, one of our boys, Sasha, completed and received his certificate of Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.
Last Tuesday, Year 5 attended an Enrichment Event at Winchester College. The event is offered by the College to primary school pupils, and we were delighted to participate.
