As well as musical and academic excellence, some of our boys are keen artists and Head of Art, John Walters, was greatly impressed with the standard of recent Christmas Card designs.

Ten Year 5 boys headed to Sherborne for a ‘Cracking the Code’ activity day. The day was split into four subject-based sections: Maths, Humanities, Science and Languages.

Tuesday evening saw the Dubbing of three new Quiristers at Evensong in the Winchester College Chapel: Ivor L, Henry S-M and Will W. The Headmaster admitted them to the College, and the current Head Qs placed their white surplices over their heads and led them arms-aloft to their places in the Choir.
Four probationer choristers enjoyed showing off their new look in red cassocks and bright white ruffs, ready for their first Evensong service on Thursday when they were initiated into their new role.

The Pilgrims' School's Summer Term was wrapped up with a Prize-Giving Ceremony in New Hall at Winchester College.
End of the Summer Term saw the Private View of the hotly-anticipated Art and D&T Exhibition in and around the school.
Benefitting from rather more musicians than were recently squeezed into the organ loft at Westminster Abbey, the Winchester College Symphony Orchestra gave monumental support to the Chapel Choir as they opened the Wykeham Day Concert with Hubert Parry’s “I Was Glad”.
