The Treasury at Winchester College is a little gem hidden just off College Street, beyond the Porter’s Lodge. Last week, it opened its doors to our Year 7 pupils, who were welcomed by Mr Lewis, Head of Classics at the College, and by Mr Chan and Mr Mercer.
Banishing the January darkness, this mid-week saw an audience gather in Winchester Cathedral to hear a performance - 150 years from the first complete concert staging in England - of Bach's magisterial B Minor Mass.
