Our Art & Design & Technology exhibition has officially wrapped up, and I couldn't be prouder of the incredible DT work our boys have produced this year.
For the Quiristers, this year has been marked by a spirit of musical collaboration: we welcomed the choirs of Eton College and New College, Oxford to Winchester at the start of the year, and the choir sang with both choirs again in Oxford in May. In January, the Oxford Bach Soloists, a leading Baroque orchestra, joined us to perform Bach’s monumental Mass in B minor.
Sadly, this week’s Forest School session was Year 3’s very last session.
For the penultimate Sunday trip of the school year, the boys in boarding had a super day out on the Solar Heritage in Chichester Harbour.
The National Year of Reading 2026 is a UK-wide campaign designed to inspire more people to rediscover a love of reading. In support of this, on Monday, we had our Pilgrims' Literary Day.
Monday evening brought plenty of sunshine, laughter, and seaside fun as our boarders enjoyed a fantastic beach-themed night together.
Those interested in archaeology and the study of the past may find the following event of interest. It takes place at Hinton Ampner, a National Trust property near Cheriton, between 25 July and 2 August.
Last Wednesday, Alexander W (Javelin), Luca B (Shot Put) and Tristan G (600m) travelled to Birmingham to compete in the 52nd NPSA Championships, held at the Alexander Stadium.
Years 6, 7 and 8 have made the most of the recent hot weather by enjoying their trips to The Watersports Academy at Sandbanks in Poole Harbour.
